El Colegio Salesiano Sagrado Corazón de la capital grancanaria ha presentado un total de 146 candidatos y ha logrado el cien por cien de aprobados en Young Learners (Starters, Movers, Flyers) con 42 candidatos presentados, Key for Schools con 29 candidatos presentados y Preliminary for Schools (B1) con 44 candidatos presentados. Un 89,28 por cien en First for Schools (B2) con 28 candidatos y un 66,66 por cien de Advanced (C1) con 3 candidatos presentados.
Salesianos Las Palmas está integrado en BEDA, un programa flexible que ayuda a la mejora de la enseñanza del inglés, siempre en coherencia con la calidad del resto de las enseñanzas y del Proyecto Educativo y valores del centro, y dirigido por Escuelas Católicas de Madrid y Cambridge English Language Assessment.
Uno de los pilares básicos del Programa BEDA es la evaluación externa y esta tarea se realiza a través de los prestigiosos exámenes de Cambridge Assessment English, a los que pueden presentarse, con carácter voluntario, alumnos, profesores y personal del colegio.
En coherencia con ese planteamiento, el Programa BEDA ofrece una excelente herramienta complementaria que es la realización de las PRUEBAS BEDA: BEGINNERS (PRE-A1 STARTERS), JUNIOR (A2-MOVERS) y SENIOR (A2-FLYERS), KEY FOR SCHOOLS, PRELIMINARY FOR SCHOOLS, FIRST FOR SCHOOLS, ADVANCED (C1) para todos los alumnos de Primaria, Secundaria y Bachillerato. Dichas pruebas sirven como entrenamiento y preparación para los exámenes de Cambridge y proporcionan un excelente indicador del nivel de dominio del inglés de los alumnos.
De esta forma se tendrá también una referencia esencial para valorar la calidad que está alcanzando la implantación del Programa BEDA en el colegio. Así se podrá analizar los logros alcanzados e iniciar las medidas necesarias para apoyar o reforzar la labor de enseñanza del inglés que se realiza en el Centro. También aportarán una orientación clara y precisa sobre el nivel del Marco Común Europeo de Referencia paras las Lenguas (MCERL) que tienen los alumnos y, por consiguiente, su capacitación para afrontar algunos de los exámenes de Cambridge English.
El equipo docente se reconoce muy satisfecho con estos resultados y anima al alumnado de Salesianos Las Palmas a continuar certificando en niveles superiores.

As we are all already knowledgeable, our centre is integrated into BEDA, a flexible program that helps to improve the teaching of English, always in coherence with the quality of the rest of the teachings and the Educational Project and values of our School, and directed by Escuelas Católicas de Madrid and Cambridge English Language Assessment.
One of the basic pillars of the BEDA Program is the EXTERNAL EVALUATION and this task is carried out through the prestigious CAMBRIDGE ASSESSMENT EXAMS ENGLISH, to which students, teachers and School staff can apply on a voluntary basis.
In line with this approach, the BEDA Program offers us an excellent complementary tool the realization of the BEDA TESTS: BEGINNERS (PRE-A1 STARTERS), JUNIOR (A2-MOVERS) AND SENIOR (A2-FLYERS), KEY FOR SCHOOLS, PRELIMINARY FOR SCHOOLS, FIRST FOR SCHOOLS, ADVANCED (C1) for all Primary, Secondary and Bachillerato students. These tests serve as training and preparation for the Cambridge exams and provide us with an excellent indicator of the level of English proficiency of our students.
In this way, we will also have an essential reference to assess the quality that the implementation of the BEDA Program is reaching in our School, so we will be able to analyse the achievements made and put in place the necessary measures to support or reinforce the work of teaching that we carry out in our School. They will also provide us with clear and precise guidance on the level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), that our students have and, therefore, their training to face some of the Cambridge English Exams.
We are all very satisfied with these outcomes and encourage our students to continue certifying at higher levels.
